About

I’ve spent my career trying to reduce friction, improve systems, and help teams deliver meaningful results.

That work started early, automating repetitive tasks as a systems administrator, and grew into leading cloud and infrastructure transformations at enterprise scale. Along the way, I’ve worked across operations, architecture, platform engineering, and people leadership — always with the same basic goal: make things work better, make them simpler, and make them easier for people to build on.

Over the years, I’ve helped organizations improve availability, performance, compliance, and cost efficiency through standardization, automation, and clear operational design. I’ve built teams, developed reference architectures, led cloud transformation efforts, and supported large-scale environments serving thousands of workloads and customers.

At SAP’s Global Cloud Services, I partnered on large-scale multi-cloud strategy and simplification work that removed unnecessary complexity, retired competing internal platforms, and helped migrate thousands of customers to more stable, secure, performant, and cost-effective infrastructure.

Today, I serve as Vice President of Cloud Engineering at Frontline Education, where I focus on building and scaling high-performing teams across SRE, DevOps, and data disciplines. My work centers on reliability, scalability, security, and making sure cloud strategy supports real outcomes for the educators and administrators our platforms serve.

This site is where I write about leadership, cloud engineering, operational excellence, and the occasional lesson from life outside of work. Some posts are practical, some are reflective, and some are just me trying to think clearly in public.
